Well, in the summer holidays of 99, i started feeling really wierd, and i thought i might not be ok in the head, but i got better and put it down to adolescence. anyway, over the christmas holidays I seem to have started up again. i was fine until i ahd to go and stay at my cousins because my parents were away, and i started thinking really wierd thoughts again. i think it may be just anxiety but i'm not sure. anyway, i hope it gets better now i'm back at school again, but i'm not sure. I'm dyspraxic, and have always ahd organisation and handwriting problems as they go with the condition. I'm quite peaceful normally, an average guy, and I try and avoid fights. i am a bit addicted to the internet, and i can't get to sleep until late at night, and i don't know if this ahs anything to do with it. I'll feel fine in the day, but then at night i feel terrible and spend half an hour praying for it to stop. i really feel odd and i want to know if this is part of adolescence or what. any help would be much appreciated!
thanks

skaterboy, how exactly do you mean, when you say you feel weird? if you can describe your feelings in more detail we're more likely to be able to help.

ive had the internet addiction thing a bit too, not so much as befre but this site is kind of addictive! and i also cant get to sleep till late, usually about 2am, but it can be much later than that, like last night when i couldnt sleep till around 5am. think this has more to do with my lfiestyle, a general vicious circle of no sleep then catching up and getting up late and so on...

but anyway if you can give us more details then we'll hopefully be able to help

If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

well by wierd i mean well... its hard to describe. usually just a feeling of something not being right. it seems to get worse when i'm away from school. sometimes the thoughts may be "bad", though nothing major. it just seems odd that it suddenly flared up after christmas. hope that explains it a bit better. i would be grateful for any help.

Skaterboy, how much do you know about dyspraxia, I latched on to this because I think my son is dyspraxic (as well as other stuff).

I have found alot of resources about dyspraxia on the internet, including a discussion groups, designed for people like you to send mesages to each other.

Four of them can be found on Yahoo http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/dyspraxia - this one has 54 members aged between 15 & 46 they have been going since May 2000
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/dyspraxialadstalk - this one only has 2 members so far, but was only started up in November 2000 by a 19 year old dyspraxic guy called Neil Boothman
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/dyspraxiaboystalk - this one has 4 members so far, and was also started up in November 2000 again by Neil Boothman
http://uk.clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/parentsofdyspraxickids - this one has the most members (59) and has been going since July 2000. Despite the title the ages range from 9 to 47. This group also have live, scheduled, online chats.

There are 18 groups on www.egroups.com I ran a search on dyspraxia & it came up with 18 groups, the first of which is called Dyspraxic teens! The list can be found here http://www.egroups.com/search?query=dyspraxia&submit=Search

If you have access to newsgroups through your server, there is a newsgroup called alt.support.dyspraxia.

I hope that, if you don't belong to one of them already, you will find some people there who will be able to help you. I'm sorry if this was so long and it has been an effort to read

In the meantime, welcome to thesite, enjoy yourself here
