Osgood Schlatters Disease

About 2months ago I was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatters Disease. I'd had the pain since November and had already eased off most of the sport i do. I have been coping with it alright but recently it's been gettin worse again . I have eased off further but then last yesterday (trainin for football team on Wednesday evenin) I couldn't stand up for more than 5mins before the pain started again .

It isn't a serious as it sounds. I already know everythin there is to know bout the condition from ppl that've had it b4 and an endless lists of Docs and specialists. I'll out grow it and i know exactly wot causes it - too much sport while growin so tendons start pulling my knee cap apart leavin a big hole in the bone .

The point of this whole post is i wanted to ask if anyone has had before? How long it lasted? Knows of anythin I can do for the pain? Dont just tell me to stop doin sport all together - I've tried and I cant stop it completely cos I one fo those ppl that cant sit still. This is really startin to get me and gf down cos i gettin really really annoyed at it as I should have recovered by now and i take the frustration out on others - she's been really great about and is always there to help me out and knows that i dont mean anythin I say on Thursdays or Mondays (matches on Sunday).

Also if it means anythin I have recovered slowly from injuries before (groin, hamstring, dislocated ankle) even when i did manage to stop completely (but only for 2 weeks and they were possibly the worst 2 weeks of my life for more than that reason). I haven't been 100% for 4 years with a very unlucky series of injuries . I think I just prone to them as only the ankle injury was my fault (it hurt alot and only happaned cos i so competitive :eek

Please Help Me!

Hurry up and wait
Beep boop. I'm a bot.
