Can U change the date of your period?

I'm goin 2 Blackpool after my exams wit a few mates but the problem is, is that i'm gonna be on my period the WHOLE time i am there which is gonna be so annoying! One of my mates said that she thinks u can get summat from the doctor which stops ur periods 4 a couple of weeks, does ne1 know of it & know if it works or if there is ne thing i can do 2 change the date when i am on my period?!?

    well i dont know what the doc means... but i know if you're on the pill and taking it normally ie one pack then a break (not like me! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">) then you can take 2 packs at once so you end up having 42 days of being on the pill instead of 21 and then a 7 day break. and thats okay to do every now and then the doc told me.

    well ive also been told from a number of sources its safe to do what i do, which is take 3 packs at a time then a week's break, as the norm! so i think you should go and see your doc about it as they'll be the ones to know! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;
    If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

    When I was training to be a hypnotist, one of the girls that was training at the same time had stopped her periods using hypnosis.

    I don't know how she worded the process she used, but I'm sure if you asked someone on one of the hypnosis newsgroups, they would be able to tell u.

    thats a bit risky isnt it, if youve never done self hypnosis before and just rely on that? *ponders*....

    i had the same prob once, i was goin on a goeg trip then 2 tenerife, i went to the docs and he gave me little white pills, take 2 a day i think and u period stays away as long as u keep em up.
    hope that help, might b able to find the box, i saved a few! i will have a look
