Do you know anyone who skips breakfast because they think it's a good way to lose weight?

Yeah & I've known people who've had eating disorders too. I blame the media.

i think missing breakfast to lose weight is silly, you might as well eat healthily and a balanced diet and exercise and stuff to lose weight. im a fine one to talk! always moaning about my thighs or beer belly (well maybe i am exaggerating a bit). i dont eat breakfast because i dont have time in the morning and i either have to get up early and have less sleep (im sort of an insomniac and cant sleep before midnight or 1am at the earliest even if i try) or miss my lift in th e morning and get in a lot of trouble at school! so im just hungry until break <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif">

I've heard that one of the most important things to do when you are trying to lose weight, is not to go to sleep within three hours of eating.

Aparently the body thinks to itself - hmmmm, no action going on, what shall I do with this food? I know, I'll store it as fat for later, incase I need it.

I really hope thats not true J9! If so no wonder I'm putting on weight! I never eat breakfast in the morning, not because I think it will help me lose weight, but because I never have time in the morning and I never feel like eating in a morning either!

If you are considering breast feeding lolly, you will need to eat regularly.

I skip breakfast. Not because I want to lose weight. I need to put on weight but I can never be bothered to get up early to make myself breakfast

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself

I miss it sometimes even though it is the most important meal of the day. But I always make sure my little girl eats a big breakfast.

Its better to eat more for brekkie and eat less for dinner anyway because your body becomes less active when u wind down for the night and your metabolism slows down. Whereas in the morning u r obviously starting a new day and burn more calories more efficiently.
