Too often we refer to players as legends, but for once I think it is more than apt.

He'll be remembered fondly to those of us old enough to have been around in the 70s when his teams were at their best.

RIP Cloughie. Greatest England manager we never had...

Yes as a Brighton supporter, during his short spell at the club he changed us from being a poorly run club with no ambition, to a club that ended up going places thanks to his leadership.
    RIP a true legend.

Always remember this quote from him, and so true it is as well.

"If God had wanted us to play football in the clouds, he'd have put grass up there."

Rest in peace Cloughie. He has done more for the East Midlands than anyone else ever could. A truly great man.

A true legend, but I never ever liked the man, whining old fartbag that he was.

    Still, RIP

Footballs loss in more ways than one, why did this man not receive a Knighthood?

    RIP

Where will football be without him? Where will Burton Albion be without the entertainment of him shouting at his son all the way through their matches?!? A great man. His legend will live on.
