Your fave movie

What are your favourite movies.
My favourite movie of all time has to be American Beauty. It completely blew away with its philosophical messege.
But there was a film the other night called Crazy/Beautiful, which I thought was another teen flick at first but it was much more "real" and deeper than any teen flick Ive seen and really drew me in. I think I related a lot to that film beause brazilian family culture is very similar to my culture in terms of the brazialan guy being urged by his family to be the best he can be and to avoid distractions (like girls).

I quite like Amelie. Not just for the storyline. I think the settings and colours are really nice and make you want to visit wherever it was filmed (Set in France but I think it was mostly filmed in Germany.)

I also like most things with Colin Firth cos I think he's lovely jubbly. ;)

I have 3. I really can't choose one over the others.

Bicentennial Man: Not because it's about a robot, but because of the human messages it gives.

Donnie Darko: Because it's weird and it doesn't make sense completely.

Dogma: Because under its comedy and satire you can find real good thoughts about religion.

Christ the list is long. I don't have a fav as depending on my mood the list changes.

But always near the top are Leon, The Usual Suspects, Empire Strikes Back, American Werewolf in London, JFK.

But then movies like Dogma, The Commitments and Trainspotting can't be overlooked.

Watched Papillon again earlier this week and the performances by McQueen and Hoffman are fantastic. So this is creeping back into my top list.

Like I said I hate making this kinda decision because there are so many great movies out there and to say which is the best ever is an impossible task.

God. What a tough question. there's just too many, but the ones that that immediately spring to mind are Battle Royale, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) and Pulp Fiction.

I always wanted to see that! I played the game when I was wee. There was a bloke called Ray Mcoy in or something? And he was a 'rep detect', or something?

    Anyway:

    Shawshank.
    Snatch.

This list has changed so much it's not funny.

    The Matrix
    LOTR: Two Towers
    Shrek
    Toy Story
    Reservoir Dogs

The Jungle Book, Monsters Inc. and Battle Royale are all very good though.I saw Kill Bill Volume 1 the other day, and that was fantastic, so that's creeping up the list.

I'd add 'The Passion of The Christ' as well, even though it is very recent.
