It's hurts but still funny

Dry your eyes Gers (To the tune of Dry Your Eyes by The Streets)

In one single moment your whole life can turn 'round
Moore stands there for a minute. Next we're UEFA cup bound
Lookin' to the left footers jealously, feeling pretty down
World feels like it's caved in - Big Eck's a clown

Please let me show you where we could only just be, for us
We can change and we can grow or we could adjust
The wicked thing about us is we always have trust
We could even bring back Konterman if we must

I look at Klos he stares almost straight back at me
But his eyes glaze over can't believe he's lost three
Then his eyes must have closed for what seems an eternity
When they open up we're lookin' at defeat

Dry your eyes Gers
I know it's hard to take but McLeish has made a f**k up
There's no more champions league
Dry your eyes Gers
I know you want to make him see how much this pain hurts
He's got to walk away now It's over

So then I move my hand up from down by my side
It's shakin', my life is crashin' before my eyes
Turn the palm of my hand up to face the skies
Hit rock bottom and let out a sigh

'Cause I can't imagine my life without champions league
There's things I can't imagine doin', things I can't imagine seein' We were supposed to beat them easy, surely
Please, please, I beg you leave

I didn't think the team would be tested
But you brought back a player we all detested
We all gave him our two finger gestures
Moore's a w**k is all that is heard

Dry your eyes Gers
I know it's hard to take but McLeish has made a f**k up
There's no more champions league
Dry your eyes Gers
I know you want to make him see how much this pain hurts
He's got to walk away now It's over

And I'm just standin' there, I can't say a word
'Cause everythin's just gone
I've got nothin'
Absolutely nothin'

Tryin' to hump it forward out of bare desperation
You bring on Andrews, can't believe that he's playin'
The midfield have no clue what they're daein
We should be in the group stages with the wages we're payin

I'm not gonna f****n', just f****n' leave it all now
'Cause you said we would beat CSKA and that was your vow
And you're gonna let our things simply crash and fall down
You're well out of order now, trying to get players from Ipswich Town?

Boumsong thinks his move was a waste
Can't see how Ricksen keeps his place
So he's off to Newcastle at a great pace
Says thanks but no thanks, and then walks away

Dry your eyes Gers
I know it's hard to take but McLeish has made a f**k up
There's no more champions league
Dry your eyes Gers
I know you want to make him see how much this pain hurts
He's got to walk away now
It's over

I know in the past I've found it hard to say
Tellin' you things, like who to play
But the more results don't go our way
We want you to walk away

Dry your eyes Gers
I know it's hard to take but McLeish has made a f**k up
There's no more champions league
Dry your eyes Gers
I know you want to make him see how much this pain hurts
He's got to walk away now

That's what I was hoping. But they have proved that they are not a one-man-team and that there is life after Henrik.

Not sure what the problem is at Ibrox. We have some great players but just doesn't seem to want to happen. I know people are crying out for Alex's head but is that the answer. A new manager? Who would take on the job?

Best start to the season ever really, Huns are falling apart at the seams, Aberdeen are above them in second, the only fucking UK team not to have conceded a goal yet.

    Govan should be nuked.

Wondered when you'd appear Bri ;)

I think Alex 3 year plan is working. Ruin Rangers. He's still a Don at heart.

Yes, I truly am priveleged to have seen the likes of Bob Malcolm and Shota Arveladze play in the flesh. Oh how they rank up alongisde all those great players of world football today.

Still, always got head stamper Alex Rae to behold the great Ibrox traditions of the past :thumb:

Not to sound nasty or anything, but I sincerely hope that spud headed ginger cockmuncher McLeish gets the boot, and soon.

Just close the club down I say, t'is what the fans deserve.

I personally hope that McLeish stays forever and ever. If he can't get Prso to score in that league he is truly a manager of fantastic proportions.

£50million debt makes Celtic look like they have good book-keeping.

Whilst i don't want to see Alex go for personal reasons, I think its proven that in European football he fails badly, and that is where the money is.

If he went, it would be nice to see Jim Duffy take the job - he's done wonders with Dundee and is experienced at motivating a deplted squad and could certainly take us to domestic success, though there's still a question mark with his European experience.

Rangers fail in European football consistently, it doesn't matter who the manager is. The only time Rangers ahve ever done owt in Europe was in 1992-1993, when even I admit that they were robbed of the European Cup final place by a corrupt referee.

European Cup Winners 1972. Runners up 1961 & 1967. Granted I wasn't even born then but still some European success.

But you are right. No real success recently.

Just some points from a part-time lurker.

No self-respecting Rangers supporter would EVER refer to themselves as a 'Hun'.

The 'three year plan' was McClelland's plan and NOT Alex McLeish's plan. On a side note, the three year plan was a complete failure; hence David Murray coming back as Chairman and today's announcement.

Rangers are absolutely fucked due to a crippling debt brought on by David Murray's mis-management since 1998. For the next ten years expect nothing other than challenging Celtic for the SPL title and mediocre runs in Europe.

And then it will all go tits up when O'Neill leaves them in the lurch for bigger and better things. Rangers are terrible but Celtic aren't really that far ahead expecially without Larsson because he is a talisman. Unpedictable senegalise strikers and aging Brazilian midgets cannot fill the void.

Yeah wel its now 7-0 great.
Yes I agree Martin O'Neil will in my opinion more to Man U when ferguson retires (or dies), he wants that they want him, thats why he wont sign an extended contract at celtic.

    O'Neill won't be around forever.

But Celtic have some decent players. Unlike Rangers, who, erm, don't. Except Prso.

Tbh, he's probably hit his peak last season, he's been completely ordinary in the SPL so far.

Boumsong is OK, although as a black Catholic I wonder how long it'll be before he'll be mysteriously hounded out

All Huns should take a look at the league table and weep. Filthy Weegie pigs, scum of the earth really.
