The end of the world is delayed.

Our earth is degenerate in these latter days; bribery and corruption are common; children no longer obey their parents; and the end of the world is evidently approaching.
-Assyrian clay tablet 2800 B.C.

That ancient futurologist was wrong as you can see. Corruption didn’t disappear and brats didn’t turn into angels but the world still exists…
So where does his mistake lie?
1. Are bribery and corruption always bad?
2. Is it always bad that kids don’t obey their parents?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

    1. Yes.

    2. Not necessarily. Depends on the parenting. There's a balance to be struck.

    What's this to with politics?

Sorry but parental styles differ. There is no absolute. Some parents are strict, others aren't. As long as a parent doesn't terribly abuse their child then I see no problem with it.

    Yes.

What if a poor worker takes a bribe so he can feed his family for a month?

    Also wrong.

Though not as wrong as the worker's employer, who should certainly be paying more than enough money for the worker to feed his family.

Then his employer should be paying him more.

Corruption is why we pay our MPs (to link in with another thread), it was intended to esnure that they didn't take backhanders from pressure groups etc. Worked, didn't it? ;)
