Sore nipples?

The last 2 days both my nipple+area (not my breasts) have been causing me conciderable discomfort, in the form of tender/soreness. I'm 18 and went through puberty several years ago so its not that there developing.

Is there a simple solution, if so what could be causing it?

Are you due on at all ???

Mine are really sore about 1-2 weeks before i am due, if I don't wear a bra and i am just simply walking down the stairs, my boobs are so painful.(they are not the biggest of boobs - a C cup)

Could very easily be that you are about to come on, also they tend to harden slightley just before.
