Xmas presents.

I think this may even be the first time I've posted a problem here. Wow.

Due to unforeseen circumstances my Lady is gonna be pretty skint this Xmas, and with so many family/friends to buy presents for she's not gonna have much £ to spend on me. The problem is; should I ignore this and splash out my increasingly shaky credit on her anyway, or also get her something simple & cheap. I was gonna get her something £150+, but I don't want her to feel guilty about not having the £'s.

if i were you then i'd splash out anyway and if she does feel guilty then tell her she can get you something in the new year

    Don't give to receive!
    Always the best policy!

My bloke is ALWAYS pretty skint but the way I see it - I can aford more, he can afford less so that's the way it is.

I've been buying things as and when I see them so it probably adds up a bit but I really don't mind.

One great present to ask for is a Compilation tape! Then you know they've spent time thinking about you (90 minutes of tape worth of time) and whenever you play the tape you'll think of them.

Get her something that shows a lot of thought has gone into it, rather than a lot of money! She will love you for it. Or give a present which is an event rather than an object like a day out to a theme park or theatre or whatever she is into.
