The curse of new clothes.

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Does anyone experience this. It's something I get all the time. Let me explain.

UpsetChap buys new clothes.
UpsetChap really likes new clothes.
None of UpsetChap's other clothes seem quite as good.
UpsetChap doesn't like his other clothes.

Repeat.

Everytime I buy something new I end up not wanting to wear anything else. It's rubbish.

Everyone wears 20% of their clothes 80% of the time. If you havent worn something in a year, throw it out.

(don't worry, eveyrone goes through that. That's the fun in getting new clothes)

I get that too sometimes. I believed that I found a solution, I went picky. So, I only bought clothes that I really liked instead of ones I just liked. That way I knew I'd still wear them even when something better came along.

Yep I get that EVERY TIME I buy new clothes.

Though it's worst with jeans, i think only once in my life have i actually had 2 pairs of jeans i wear at the same time (well not actually literally at the same time, you know what i mean!) Soon as i've bought a new pair i suddenly HATE the old :(

Why not try wearing your old clothes with your new clothes?

This happened to me today, the clothes i thought i liked yesterday are now unwanted due to the new arrivals today.

The problem with clothes looking totally different when you get home is another issue with me.

I'm thinking of buying clothes online.... dont think this male is up to going round shops.... cant stand it...
