Career choices are a nightmare

I've decided that accounting is going to be my rock as in my further more specialised form of qualifications.
As i see that this gives me many opportunities as to where I can work as the majority if not all businesses have an accounts department or a separate company that handle their accounts for them.
But accounts is my sensible choice of career & that's finalised & i'm 100% happy with this.
Although if I follow my heart & not my head then we have the following other career ideas:
*Policeman
*Race car driver or member of a motorsport team
*Editor/proof reader
*Night club manager
*Youth worker or something else working with children
*Caretaker/grounds keeper/maintenance type person
As i'm only 18 then can I maybe also achieve some of the other careers above in my lifetime?
All I really dream of in career is that I earn lots of £'s, a company car, to be in charge & respected by a little team of people & i'm required to wear a suit everyday for work. See I don't ask for much;)

i'd like to do that, but i am shit with violence, criminals, drunk people and people in general, so i reckon i'd be a really really shit policewoman.
but if you've got the temperament, i think it'd be fab. and you'd really get a sense of helping people.
having said that, if all you want is money, suit and a car, you'd be as well going into sales. it'd certainly be easier. much more soul-destroying though....
Never close your mind to new opportunities and career ideas. I've now applied to work for Stagecoach buses because transport fascinates me, but two years ago I wouldn't have given that career route a second thought.
haha. ditto me and writing. i hadn't even considered something other than writing.
now i'm stuck with an irrelevent degree and 3 years less work experience than the people i'm fighting for jobs.
life does what it does. just do what you want to do now.
