But there's one thing i never been quite certain of, is it where you can just reproduce with yourself, or is it where you got both male and female genitals?

lol yeah it is weird... saw a prog about it once, where scientists were convinced they could just chop someones .. private parts... off and bring them up as a girl if they gave them hormones. needless to say, it didnt work, and the poor boy/girl went a bit mad and ended up going back to being a bloke when s/he was about 15. and its been like a textbook situation of a way when you can just nurture a baby to be whatever gender, even thogh all the while it wasnt actually working.

not sure if thats actually in repsonse to the post.. kinda similar anyway!

snails are hermaphrodites... although you need 2 snails to make baby snails i seem to remember.

herma....fuckit, they got a dick and c unt but cant reproduce with themselves (chemically impossible and they cant bend it round). Snails get the choice of who is the male and they can do it both ways.

snails can produce young without a mate (at least water snails can), as can stick insects. However, I have seen snails mating, or maybe they are just dancing lol

Funny, I didn't know about the watersnail thing, J9. I know that male seahorses get preggers, though...nature is a weird and wonderful thing!
