is there any way to make rust on cars? like with household products or anything like that?

    maybe you could make some out of plasticine, or papier maché.. Hmm.. I don't think you can just make rust. Unless you break some off from somewhere that's rusty, and glue it wherever you want it to go ;)

    Errrr.

    Not really.

    It doesn't just appear. It's a reaction. It takes time. The metal has to be exposed to the air + water. So for a start, you'd have to remove any paint layer..

    actually it was for a favor. if my friends car gets rust she gets a new one and her car is already a pile so i was just trying to be a good person :p

    and i know on the west coast the cars always seem to be rusty and they say its from the salt water, true?

    Salt might speed up the reaction yes.

    i think its the same, but i dont think it rusts the car, it just damages the paint, but then if you put sea water on it and blow loads of air on it, then rust will appear ;)
