The description of the homosexual intercourse was far, far from being acurrate. Some gay relationships have a more feminine partner, but this is a stereotype, I have never said "I'm the man" or "I'm the woman" in any relationship, because we are both men and don't wish to be women. And neither of the men ever choose to pretend to be a woman during sex, it's more often than not done both ways, one man giving then receiving.
