stupid but help please!

when you copy and paste a image how do you get the backround to be transparent not white? so your able to paste over something else?:confused:

    YOu can't if you just paste it to another image unless you take out the coloured bit around the image. I use Photoshop and all I do is erase the colour round the image then copy it and paste it to a new transparent layer and save it as a .gif.

    I noticed I didn't do it with my AV.. cheers for reminding me.

    By the way I ment make a new transparent image then paste it to that.

    Chuck it this way if you can't do it.
