Glastonbury line up dilemma

Typical, every year there are big clashes, for me

FRIDAY:

Franz ferdinand or PJ Harvey (will have to be PJH!)

Goldfrapp or Kings of Leon (saw both last year, can't decide) or The Bees?

at least the headline is easy, chemical brothers over oasis anyday!

Saturday:

where are all the bands i want to see? where are they? where are they? Someone recommend me something, so far I only fancy: Scissor sisters, ben harper (although he was dull live ladt time), von bondies and british sea power.

Sunday:

Must see the Zutons :)
and Gomez (who clash with james brown...?)
Supergrass or belle and sebastian (supergrass methinks)
Muse or Orbital?

Who else is on
the line up that you think I should go and see and why?

Susie :)

    right, well I suggest:
Acoustic stage, sunday27th: John Cooper Clarke (because hes a friend of mine)

Dance tent, saturday 26th: sister sledge.

Jazzworld: Friday25th: Michael Franti and Spearhead (I saw them at V2003 and they were fantastic, sort of reggae dub.

Jazzworld, saturday26th : Toots and the maytals. Absolute reggae masters. You cant see Bob Marley so this is next best, if not better - 54-46 thats my number.

Jazzworld sunday 27th. Roy ayers (acid jazz) and then Bonnie Raitt.

New tent, sunday 27th, Television (because Byny recommends them)

Other stage, friday 25th,Chemical brothers, franz ferdinand.

other stage sunday, Orbital, divine comedy.

    pyramid. Friday:Nelly furtado,
Saturday, paul mccartney (get him to do the frog chorus) black eye peas, SPEARHEAD,
    sunday. Morrissey, james Brown.

thats who id go and see if I was going.

I'd check out GLC in the Dance Tent on the Sunday, just to see what they're like live. :thumb:

Really quite off topic but I was wondering, do you get many pilled-up people at Glastonbury? Or people using stimulants at all? Or is it just cannabis and alcohol?

I saw Franz Ferdinand live a few months back - they do an amazing life set. I would certainly try and catch a bit, if not all of their set.

    Thanks all, keep them coming.

I know, I so want to see Franz Ferdinand, so if there is enough time I might try and catch a bit of their set but only if I don't miss any of PJH as I've waited 8-9 years to see her! Morrissey and orbital are on my maybe list too and will look into your jazzworld suggestions RB, it's a nice place to sit by on a sunny afternoon :)

I'm off to do the last of my shopping today on my lunchbreak today, can't believe all my mates have finished work already! I'm here until mid avo tomorrow... I wouldn't mind so much if they just STOPPED texting me to gloat!
