My Dad wants - his words not mine - "A simple card." Sorted. :) He thinks it's muchos commercialised, which is sooo true. I don't need one day to appreciate my Paw. He's the best everyday and he knows this as I tell him he's just the BEESKNEES :D

Me and my brother and sisters all went together and got him the England shirt. It's something he wouldn't pay out for himself, but would most definately get the wear out of! We gave it to him last sunday, so that he could wear it for the first match. None of us kids are gonna be around on Fathers day though...At the Chilli Peppers concert! :hyper:

My dad only ever gets a card... it's never been any other way and I don't intend to change now! I have a hard enough time finding stuff to buy for Christmas/birthdays without worrying about fathers day too! :)

Aww, thats such a nice idea!

My dad is working down south at the mo so going to send his card away today. It's a crock of crap anyway. My dad knows I worship the ground he walks on. Don't need a special day to tell him!

    LOL. So true.

Perhaps it's because most men ar crap at this sort of thing?

Personally I just need reminding near the time. I like to pick my own cards because I like to make sure that they are as personal as possible.

Still working on my Dad's present. I know he would like a CD (Thin Lizzy GH) or DvD (Monty Python "Holy Grail") but those things are so predictable...

Not much time left now, so that might be it...

For me that would be the perfect Father's Day prezzie - a ticket to that concert.

Can't see my kids doing that.

Just so long as it's not socks or a tie...

I had completely forgotten that it's Fathers day this weekend!!!!

I wonder what I can get after work today that I can mail quickly off to Dad with the hope that it gets there early next week.

Does anyone have some good generic father's day presents? My Dad's not really into much - he doesn't like sports or cars or anything typically "manly" but I hate getting him ties and crap like that

My parents have gone away for a few days so I'm hoping that my dad forgets that it's fathers day and doesn't expect anything when he gets back as I'm skint!!
