New drug to stop hanghovers. You have to take 1 with each pint for them to work. Seems a few too many to take but I might try some and see for myself. What does everyone else think??

First of all, never believe anything the Sun tells you without getting another source.

Secondly, the scientist and liver specialist said its rubbish.

But, there could be some science behind it, I'll have a poke around, this has perked my interest.

I heard this mention on Galaxy this morning and i have to say i pissed my sides laughing! Can you imagine being on a ight out and taken pills with every drink you have- bouncers might be a bit suspect!!

Anyways the hangover is part of the fun! Theres nothing like waking up with a room full of your mates all grimming it and laughing at each other as different people run out the room to be sick at the smell of food!!!!

I've had a look around and it appears that the chemical they mention is involved in damage to the liver.

BUT, this doesnt mean it has relation to a hang over which has more to digestion process of the alcohol and dihydration.

If, however it does prevent damage to the liver then surely its a good thing, but as many of the comments said it could well encorage people to drink more, which would negate the point of the product at all.

Surely the best option would be not to get really really drunk and act like an arse, because the two are firmly linked.

No fun at all when you have to get up and go to work the next morning.

I know you are against drinking in many ways bongbudda but everyone gets hangovers, you don't have to act like an arse to wake up in the morning feeling like shit.

I'm not strictly against drinking, I am a big fan of speciality beers and do go to relatively stupid lengths to get them. (like importing belgian ones, and yes I am a ponce).

I just find really drunk people annoying, I've never been much of a drinker, I'm a depressive drunk, not a lively one like some people.

Its personal choice, I dont like people using anything to excess (to the point of doing damage) because I think its stupid and boring/dangerous to be around.

If you are getting hung over on relatively low levels of alcohol though you may well want to change what you drink, that plays a huge role.

Ive bought RU21 off ebay, its pretty cheap. I did find i didnt have a hangover the next day, but when my OH took it, he still had a hangover. My hangovers arent that severe anyway though. I didnt take the pills as i was drinking. I took a few before i went out, and then a few when I got in.

In my experience there are really no good ways of avoiding a come down.

5-HTP seems to help with the following week after using MDMA, but because I use so in-frequently I dont tend to get the 'tuesday' blues anyway.

Sleep is by far the best way of curing a come down.

Indeed, just push it to the point where you pass out and then you dont get a come down. I've done that once but its really not wise.
