I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System)?
I will need to take such one for my university applications, and need to take the academic version.

I have looked the guide through, and will probably also buy the home-testing kit (as if the test itself doesn't cost more than enough).
But the thing that is making me nervous is the written part, where I among others could be asked to describe graphs or figures, as I have no sense of terms for mathematical stuff in English, whatsoever. And me needing to write a short letter in a given tone is also a bit nervewrecking, as I don't know where to start if it's properly formal.

Any tips regarding this would be appericiated :)
