    on farms people use it for animal beds. it's warm, and it's quite cheap.

    you can also use it for small animals, but it has a nasty habit of poking them in the eyes.

    and foreign people like to make donkeys out of it :)

    It's also used to thatch roofs.

    Farmers store it the summer so they can feed it to the animals in Winter.
