Doesn't get any more English than that methinks...
That's where I am gonna live.
When it was the former, there was just green everywhere but today I've only seen a small fraction of people openly celebrating...even some of my friends didn't know that it was today!
You might get a bit wet.
It's the most charming area in London (along with the mansion road in Finchley).
After I'd told the world that it was the area in which I am gonna live, I got told the prices
If everything goes well though, I'll get to study in the are though.
But then again... I aint English.
...joking about the last two
Happy St.Georges peeps
edited to add: also been reading about the football while listening to Aswad, you can't get more English than this surely?
Oh god, what song made them famous ?
Yeah thats the one
I don't do national holidays, or Christians ones to be honest.
Errrrmmm...the Thames is a long river. It ain't one place y'know.
A flag flying! Great! Thats fantastic! Best thing ever!
Get a life.
I am aware of that.
But the area surrounding it, is so peaceful, despite being in the actual city. And it's just charming.
Evening i had work, after work i spent the night with Tom
I didnt feel it was the drink involved with celebrating but merely being about to feel proud about your Country! I enjoyed watching old films, and documentaries about why we are such a popular, strong country.
I was able to wear my england shirt and feel proud for doing so, to me St Georges day is not another p**s up but a chance to reflect with mates why we celebrate.
To celebrate something you do not have to be 'in your face' with everyone, flags, shouting we english, singing chants celebration can be quiet reflections on something at home.
I'm being pedantic I know, but...which bit? Teddington? Richmond? Putney? Barnes? Wandsworth? Vauxhall?
Its a long river.
Admittedly I was pissed last night when I wrote that.
But I still fail to see whats so great about a fucking flag.
What's the area near The Design Museum called?
Will you marry me?
No, I plan marrying someone who is.
Or if everything goes according to plan, I am a billionaire by the time I am 35 (without necessarily marrying some who is loaded, though it is a plus).
There's more than one type of pride.
You can be proud of your family, your career, what you've been through in life and how you've pulled through. And again, it's good to take everything in moderation.
Just because you don't bum your country doesn't mean you have no pride.
