what is it with girls?

after reading someones message i am happy to find out that i am not the only one in my situation. please read the whole of the message, even though it is soooo long!
basicly when i meet a girl first thing i want to do is get to know them, to find out about them. this is not usually good, because i am the boy who is a friend and not the boyfriend.
this then ends up with me being the person who everyone talks to to sort out their problems, and sometimes it is so hard to tell someone who you've fancied for ages how to sort out their problems with a boy that treats them like crap. being the nice lad is not always as easy as it seems.
it really guts me that i am the only single lad in a group of about twenty mates(both sexes) basicly because i try to treat girls with a little bit of respect and tact.
so, why is it that girls prefer to go for blokes who:
1. are amazingly good looking,
2. have no brains or sense,
3. are inevitably going to treat them like crap
4. who's idea of a 'loving' realationship is one wordless phone call a week and somekind of sexual activity everytime they see you.
instead of going for the lad who:
1. is good lookin, but not as stunning as a 'the amazingly good looking boy'
2. has a brain and can add 2 & 2.
3. knows how to treat a girl even if it makes them loook like a twat in front of their mates.
4. who doesn't look for a wank everytime they see each other but tries to find out the better intricate details of a person.
i know this sounds really desperate and that you all think i must be terribly ugly, but seriously drop the 'treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen' and look for a lad who deserves you, in the long run it will make you feel better too for getting someone who you deserve and treats you right.

I wouldn't even consider going out with the loud dumb pice of shit types. I either go for the gothic, thin gaunt, zombie looking intellectual types, or I'll go for intelligent older guys. It just sound like you're going for the wrong girls, try asking out one of the queiter types of girls and they're bound to treat you good <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">
