hi iv been goin out with this boy for some while now and i really do like him!! i know im ready for sex but i dont think he is and i dont know what to do!!??

Well, you've just given two very good reasons not to have sex.

a) You don't think he's ready

and

b) You don't know what to do.

You're obviously *not* ready, so don't rush into it. Let things go naturally, enjoy yourself and take things slowly, and you'll know when the time is right. Also, you should talk to him about it and ask what he wants - communication is the key, and if you're not mature enough to talk about sex, you're not mature enough to be having sex.

Bit harsh but see your point,

The reason people say you'll know when your ready is because you cant just jump straight into you have to take it like a stepping stone!
Think of first base etc:
Sex (for your first time) should be seen as a stepping stone in your relationship, and once you've conquered everything else and you both feel ready and willing then of you go-

Just dont go from nothing to been a pair of sex crazed bunnies!
(especially for your first time!)

Dont get me wrong here, I love sex as much as anyone else-
And agree it can cement a relationship in place-

But, I was looking at it from the opinion that its both there first times.

Men are nearly always ready for sex- even before we wake up...
