i was on the combined pill, it made me bleed twice in a month, im now on the mini-pill and i am bleeding for the second time this month! :rolleyes: Thing is though its not normal bleeding its very very dark, thick, clots of blood and its mingin, do you think this has something to do with my pill or something else? I cant get to the doc til fri. Thanks :) x

    It could be a side effect from changing to a new pill, but no one here can really advise you on that. Some people just react badly to the pill, for others these side effects will calm down. It's worth remembering, though, that the pill isn't the only form of contraception available have a read through our other contraception factsheets here. And in the meantime, make an appointment to talk to your GP>
