Not only is the lying rectum determined to slur David Kelly's name by saying that "he killed himself because he was a liar", now he's refusing to accept the blame for the death of a soldier due to his department's horrific incompetence.

The man is symptomatic of New Labour- he is a liar, he is a cheat, he has no human compassion and he is unable to entertain the fact that anyone who disagrees with him could possibly have a point. The whole party is the same- if you disagree with them, you are wrong, and you will be victimised for it. The sooner the corrupt bastards are gone from politics in this country the better it will be for all- and before anyone tries to deny the corruption, they should take a trip to their local university library and have a thumb through some of the Parliamentary Affairs journals.

Of course, another point which is all the more reinforced by articles such as this is that if you don't want to become simply an expendible tool for the government to use for whatever mercenary aims their corporate backers have their sights set on, don't join the military in the first place.

In the modern era, believing one is joining any western military out of patriotic duty simpy to defend one's homeland is naive to the utmost. More likely one should expect to be sent out to invade foreign lands on the basis of contrived "evidence" in order to further enrich elite interests, and that has nothing whatsoever to do with patriotism.

I think its an absolute disgrace that the soldier died because of a supply cock up. Its unbelievable that in this modern age we fail to give our troops the right protection, if he had refused to fight he would have been courtmartialled and yet Hoon gets off scot-free.
