Hi I'm new, I just wanted some advice. Me and my boyfriend have been going out for about 9 months and in that time weve seen each other for about 1 month of that time, the prob is he lives in Bolton and I live right down in essex. So about 200 miles from each other, no one takes us seriousely and even I have my doubts some times.
We met coz he sent me an e mail wanting to make new frinds online, and I was kinda bored so I sent 1 back and it continued like that for ages I started flurting with him and he kinda liked it so we met up, and this is kinda bad but a few hrs after meeting each other we did it, it did feel right and I dont regret it but it does sound bad.
Weve broken up a few times but gotten back together again. I wanted to move up there so we could see each other more but he was dead against that so I gotta put up with not seeing him for months on end, what does ne1 think?

It's up to you- is he worth all the effort, or would you be better off with someone else? I don't think it's a good idea to move there. You would have to rely on him and what would you do there, work, study, what?

It doesn't sound like the best relationship to be honest. If you both want to work at it, you can stay together but it is hard to make long distance relationships work.

Its not impossible mind. Im in a long-distance relationship, and we did become friends off the net, but its not really a net relationship...we started going out after meeting 3 or 4 times, and we just clicked. If you hardly see each other maybe you should question whether it is worth it, to keep a LDR going it needs contact. But if you feel its worth it, love can cross all obstacles <IMG alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">

We phone each other nearly every day (dont ask how high my phone bill is its just to evil to contemplate)
A few days ago he said he was just in it for the fun, he does say stuff he doesnt meen alot of the time and he did say he didnt mean it after. But I dont know, should I take our relationship seriousely seing as he isnt.

Also ppl say that I'm to young to love some1 properly (17) but I dont think it has an age boundry really... I think I really do love him, I just wish he had the same passion for it as I do.

i am in a long distnece relationship too. trust me i no how it feels. Talk 2 him about ur concerns cos if u don;t u will just get more distanced from him if u 2 dont sort it out early on.

There are loads of threads here on long-distance relationships; search this forum for all the info you could possibly want.....

(And as a Northerner, I think Bolton's great!)
