Favourite songs are often really personal to the individual person, aint just about the "quality" of the song. Could bring back memories, might be sentimental for some reason, or might even just be someone with a different opinion to your own.

So personally, I don't think any of us can judge what other people have as their favourite song.

Probably Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones.

I don't like people who claim their favourite song EVER is one that was released really recently. It's just silly.

    FinCH!!!1! - Lettas 2U!!11!

    Yeah not really.

Favourite song of all time is a bit of a toughie, I wouldn't be able to say. Further Seems Forever - Snowbirds And Townies never fails to satisfy me, and Jimmy Eat World - For Me This Is Heaven.

What about Kind Of Like Spitting - All Else Failed?

Too many songs to choose from. They're just three off the top of my head, it'd be way to hard to think about this properly.

Tbh, your favourite ever song is a Disney theme, therefore negating any argument. :p

And yes Tim, I agree with you - that just smacks of short-sightedness. Paint It Black is a tune. As is Digital bath actually Rise and Shine.

Yes but homeboys, a recent tune and an old tune have little to seperate them if a person heard them at the same time, if you see what I'm saying (obviously they do technically have a lot to seperate them). Therefore some recent picks (ie past 2 years) are perfectly valid, obviously if you pick Britney Spears - Me Against The Music that's a little different.

Yeah I see what you're saying. That Deftones song is only 3 years old for example, but it's not like they've picked something they heard on the radio last week.

Yeh that's my point, if they pick a tune from the last week or so then it hasn't had time to sink in and mean anything so it's just a superficial choice that will invariably change if you asked that person the same question two weeks later.

I don't really know tbh, probably Meatloaf - Anything For Love, or Bat Out Of Hell, due to the fact that they remind me of my dad a lot, and I don't get to see him very often as a lot of you probably know :p Also, The Who - My Generation, dunno why

So what you are saying is you CAN'T have a favourite song that is quite recent? That's just bullshit.

So, either 2PAC-Changes or Elton John- Your Song

The point is if the song is really new it may not stand the test of time in you eyes. Your favourite song of the moment will not neccessarily be your favourite song in a week. Therefore your favourite song ever should have had a decent time to secure itself in the top spot, and stay there a while.
