If she has come on her period there is no way she can be pregnant, as no egg has been fertilized. A
ll I can say is in future make sure when you put a condom on make sure it has the bit on the end, so there is room for the sperm, otherwise it will split again. And there is also risks of stds etc. xx

Not true...you have to wait until the following month to find out if she is prgnant, you can get your period up to 3 weeks following pregnancy...

Yes, go to the Brook Advisory as soon as you can. Just because her period began on schedule the next day does not prove that she isn't pregnant.

That happened to me to, so off I went to the Brook. Then the nasty woman laughed at me and basically told me I was stupid and there was no way I was pregnant. Cow. But don't let that put you off going!!!

To Pussykatty - you should report the advisor at the Brook who laughed at you as a) the advise she gave you in incorrect and b) it's totally unprofessional.

Re periods and pregnancy. It is absolutely possible (and not that uncommon) to have a period or a bleed after conception. If you've had unprotected sex - whether it's through a condom failure or otherwise and pregancy is your fear, then you should seek advise from your clinic or doctor.

They would do better to get the naughty boys who won't wear condoms in and tell them off! It's so annoying to have to go to the Brook and the bloke has already forgotten about it and is out enjoying himself.

She came on her period too soon to be able to tell. But it's still best to go for the morning after pill anyway, just to be on the safe side. You can also buy them over the counter at the chemist now

There is still time to sort out some emergency contraception if you are quick:

The body can release eggs at random times. It doesn't happen very often, but occasionally eggs are released just before, during, or just after periods. Technically, an egg could have been in the fallopian tubes - where they get fertilised - when you had intercourse.

....but don't assume that emergency contraception will work...you may be pregnant, take the morning after pill and still be pregnant.
