I obviously have quite a big advantage being a student then! I think living in the north east helps too...it seems to get more expensive the further south you go.

Student night is Wednesday for me and I usually spend:

£3-4 for a taxi to town between 2 of us
£1 entry to my favourite bar
£10ish on drinks in their. It's buy one get 2 free on cocktails and shots :yum:
£4 entry to the club with my student card...i try not to drink in their
£2-4 for food on the way home
£4-5 for the taxi home between 2 again

So that's around about £20 if it's a usual night out.
I drink before I go out cos it makes it cheaper and take full advantage of the buy one get two free offer!!

4 people*£1= £4 which would pay a short taxi fare.

Id easily spend 100 quid on a night out.
Dont smoke or do drugs so its mainly drink and paying into a place and maybe the cab home.
Drink sin clubs over here can cost up to 6quid for a pint!
Euro's but even still, work full time so aint too bad for now!

20-30 pound on a night out is unreal- even spends that at a house party!

I don't trust street drugs because you don't know what's in them; even if they turn out not to be harmful (say you get an aspirin instead of an E) it's still a waste of money really, innit? Also my mates aren't really into them and it's a hassle to get them where I live. I'm not moralising in any way though - the decision to do drugs is a personal one and entirely up to your judgement.

Fair enough, and an entirely valid concern, however there are testing options available that means you can get a good idea of what you are consuming.

God, most of you spend fortunes going out!

    I spend roughly £25-35...

don't drink much beforehand and if I do it's usually free because it ain't my fridge!
usually don't go to places where I have to pay in but if I do then it's about £5
£20 for eight drinks but maybe more if I hit the JD
    £2.50 to split a 20 deck
    free joints from generous friends
    £3 for a chinese
    £3 for taxi home
