How Much Money Do You Spend Clubbing and Pubbing?

For the last 4 weeks my local club has been running a promotion which means almost every Friday or Saturday night I was getting in for free before midnight!! Normally it's £10 to get in.

Now I'm going to have to go back to paying ..

It was fun while it lasted though cos I could get upto 5 other people in for free to so some nights when we had extra tickets we'd tap on the shoulders of the people in front and get them in for free too .. which helped make their night!!

So how much do you spend on enterance, food, drink, clothing, etc and how often and what times do you go?

Hmm, roughly

£18-22 on entrance/ticket.
£20 on charlie for the journey up
£5 for a beer when i get inside, normally have 2 or 3 at the start
£5 for a bottle of water i keep refilling
£10 on pills
£8 on travel or chip in for petrol
£10 on fags

Ive cut down, i used to drink heavily at raves/clubs and used to spend £160 a night. Horrible.

i used to go every week sometimes every other week. Sometimes 8 times a month. Now i go to a rave once a month, and then ill go to camden week or 2 later.. no job!

I don't go out to often to clubs/pubs, most weekends will just spend with friends in a mates house. But when I go out I spend.....

Clothes/Shoes : £25 (Normall mix'n'match)

Entrance : £5 - £15

Drink Beforehand : £5 (A couple of big bottles of Alco-pops)

Drugs : £6 (Couple of pills/Bit of speed)

Fags : £12

Train : £2

Drink in Club : £5

Taxi/Mini-bus : £5 - £15

I usually go out on student nights and clubs to try and save some cash.

Lets see: £10 on bottles of wine at my mate's house.
£2 on train to Glasgow
£10-20 on drink
£5 max on enterance
£10 at the Sleepless Cafe on food and hot chocolate
£5 home in a taxi

I spent about £100 Friday night, most of that was on drugs though:D

Hmmm, I'd say;

£10-15 on ticket.
£5 on drinks in the pub before.
£15 on speed
£5-10 on pills
£2-3 quid of weed
£10 on drinks in the club
£5 transport

So, £50-60 in total, but I've spent considerably above that before.

mushies, shrooms, base, ket, pills and alcohol. Smoked weed and had half an acid but I didnt pay for them!

It would worry me to spend more than £30 and horrify me to spend more than £50, if you go out in the week then it can be done for less than £20, easy...........

Clubbing up here is quite cheap.

Saturday night, for example. Went to a workmates evening wedding do, then a load of us went on to a club. As I don't drink, and therefore drove down and back, the night out broke down to...
Petrol: About £2.50 (including picking up, and dropping some of them off at the end of the night)
Drink (Coke) at the do: £1
Club entrance fee: £8 (ten minutes earlier and it would've only been £6)
3x Pepsi's at club @ 80 pence each: £2.40
So, that makes a grand total of £13.90

Midweek...
Entrance from Free to £3, sometimes as much as £5, which depends upon time you go, discount flyers, getting freebies.
I'll use Thursday as an example.
Drink in bar beforehand (coke) £1 (ish)
Club entry £2
4x Pepsi's @ 50 pence each (not all clubs are this cheap though, just my fave club) = £2
Petrol (without giving people lifts): £1
Grand total: £6

I couldn't afford to go out if I drank, due to the price of the drinks, and the taxis.

I'd be shocked if I had to spend more than £30 on a night out.

I would rather have cheapish nights out regularly than enormously expensive nights out rarely..........

well I do got out regularly, I just spend all my money on going out and clothes! :shocking: The clubs I go to are for the music though and to see my fave dj play. So its prolly cheaper than going to a concert etc

£5/7 into wherever i go.
£6 on drink before.
£9 on drink inside roughly, could be more, could be less.
£10/£15 for blow.
£3 for something to eat afterwards sometimes.


I would spend less than that some nights and others alot more.

Also drinking in clubs is madness, I advise doing all your drinking beforehand but we don't go to a club until midnight normally, what time do you lot normally go?

I'd say mostly from about 10.30-11pm and I end up leaving somewhere around 4-5 to get the night bus.

We spend the whole of the rave day smoking and spend the evening at the pub till 11 then jump on the train and were there by half 11/12 queuing up outside.. that really is the worst bit feeling the bass vibrate and catching bits of the phatest tunes that i know im missing while im shivering outside in the cold at the back of a huge Q panicing about the drugs search :rolleyes:

I cant believe how little lots of you spend on going out. Im also shocked that some people are shocked we spend lots.

On a normal Saturday night I'd spend including the taxi 60 quid.

Maybe your just paying too much for your stuff, unless your doing charlie I fail to see how you can do 300 quids worth of drugs in one evening.

I mean thats something like;

75 pills at £2 each and 10g of strong base at £15 each.

he bought an ounce of weed and we got through it our drugs are cheap as chips too, we just happen to do a lot or rather ron does
theres petrol money, drink money, pills, ket, base, shrooms and truffles money. Getting into the club, buying cigarettes and all stuff like thats
