does anyone else find cemetaries strangely calming and peaceful?

i went to see my auntie's grave today, and normally when i'm walking somewhere isolated by myself i'm a bundle of nerves.

but i felt calm....protected, in some way?

do you get that, or are you just freaked out by them.

and does anyone else try to find someone who died on the day you were born?

It's not the dark I'm scared of. It's the monsters that hide in the shadows that'll jump out and rip yer head off that I'm scared of. :p

    it's both with me.

when it's dark i tend to see things that aren't there.

but yeah, the monsters are pretty scary too. especially the big hairy cemetary monsters and all the zombies.

Doesn't need to be dark for me to see things that aren't there.

And a survival tip for zombies. Quite easy to outrun. And if you find yourself cornered then offer them BBQ chicken. They're suckers for the stuff. :D

I'm fond of cemateries with old gravestones like angels and the like because I admire the sculptures and yes, I do find them rather peaceful. But at the same time I'm not a believer in visiting graves too often, mainly because I'm not a Christian and I don't believe that when people die it's the end.

They stick around a bit y'know, whether you'll believe it or not. :p

I hate cemetaries. So sad. To get to the other side of the cemetary to see our relations we need to walk by the childrens granes. It is so sad. Some of the ways they died are dreadful too. :(

Someone's been watching too much Buffy.

I find cemetaries really peaceful, at least during the day. Apparently they're the safest place to be at night, because everyone's too scared to go in there! Don't know if I'd want to find out, though.

The thing with our cemetary is. It is closing to new 'customers' shall we say. In otherwords, it's full up.

Well, weve got a few but the best one is full.

No, it's not monsters you've got to be scared of, it's the smack heads tanked up on Special Brew who'll mug you for your money and mobile phone so they can afford their next hit that you've got to be scared of in graveyards! :nervous: :D
