Just out of interest, but does anyone know which land creature has the most potent deadly toxin?

I'm guessing it's some form of spider/snake/scorpion..

:)

Right I'm bored as shit and rather drunk so I did a search...

The most poisonous land animal in the world is... the poison arrow frog! Two micrograms of toxin from a posion arrow frog is enough to kill a human being. The full stop at the end of this sentence weighs around six micrograms.

Incidently, the most poisonous animal ever is the box jellyfish which can be found in the waters around Australia.

Yeh yeh I'm a sad bastard for tell you all this...

this is probably bullshit but i read somewhere that one of the most venomous spiders is the money spider, but due to its size it cant pierce our skin or have enough venom to acutally do any damage

The tiny ones are, aren't they? Lovely little things....but then to think one can kill!

Actually from the amount of alcohol I've consumed, I think I may now be poisonous. :hyper: *can't decide whether that's something to be hyper about*

    heh, no seriously, I don't know. :p

There's some Japanese Dragon Lizard thing that is pretty deadly but it not a toxin as such - it has big gaps in it's teeth and the food it eats rots inbetween and the bacteria become deadlly to anything it bites - but for some reason this lizard is immune to this bacteria.

That's like humans tbh. We have a strong immune system, but say you bit a dog (for example) it would get very ill and maybe die of the bacteria that's passed on. That's why if another human bites you, you can get badly ill.
