All in ones?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
As I have been suggesting for a couple of days, it is my birthday on Wednesday.
Now, I have just about managed to persuade my grandad to buy me an all in one Printer, scanner and copier because my old ones are dodgy.
Now, my question for you is...

What all in one do I go for?
What do I do woth the old ones?

I know it is in the wrong forum but in my old thread, not alot of people replied.

So,
Respondevouz Sil vous plait.

U like my french accent?

The experience I've had with all in one's is that the printer/scanner/copier are of a lower standard than seperates. Check and make sure you get all 3 are good preformers :)

With the oldies, burn them/sell them/give em away/destroy them and fiddle with the electrics etc!

We only had a printer, so we got a 4-in-1 ( printer, scanner, copier, fax). It was a better printer than my old one, so it was a win-win situation. Until it broke down :( . I'd keep the old ones because if it breaks down, you are short of 4 peripherals ( i know its spelt wrong)

So Im back on the old printer, and have no scanner of copier ( Didnt use the fax really)

    Mine is a Lexmark X75

We got a hp printer-scanner-copier and its better than the printer and scanner we had before and having thought we never really needed a copier before we use it nearly every day. My very limited knowledge of all things technical doesnt really let me advise you here but i reckon ypu get a hp one like mine because they are REALLY useful (and take up a third of the space!)

Sorry, but I need prices too. The maximum is about £100 but I can add £20 to it if needed.
Sorry to be a pain in the arse.
