In therapy Opening up about past stuff is alright, but present stuff brings uneasy feelings like 'am I in trouble for opening up?' I just go to bed wen those feelings arise

Hi @ellie2000, thank you for sharing your feelings with us. It's completely valid to feel uneasy about opening up about our past experiences. You're absolutely not in trouble for talking about the past in therapy - it suggests that it is a safe space where you're able to talk about these things. How would you describe your feelings when you open up about the past? Are there any topics that feel particularly difficult to talk about? We're here to support you.
