How do I keep my fucking mouth shut

I don’t know whether my autism plays a part in this issue or not, but it’s worth mentioning.
Since I was 18, I’ve became a really snappy bitch who says stuff I regret seconds later
I can never keep my inside thoughts to myself I say horrible things when I’m in a bad mood.
Sometimes, it does get me in trouble. And I can’t control it.
What technique can I use to stop saying horrible things that I’ll regret later?

I was always told that anger is a secondary emotion and usually one that hides another emotion you’re feeling deep down. So when you’re being snappy, maybe it might help if you try and figure out what you’re actually feeling and why.
Whenever I’m snappy or being a mouth I usually try and own that. I apologise to whoever I’ve been an eejit to and that helps me to forgive myself and hopefully helps them to forgive me.
