Emma messaged me this morning to say that I’ll be starting counselling on Tuesday 😭 she said the lady is ‘lovely’ and that she is aware that I don’t like camhs or eye contact but I don’t know the thought of trying counselling again is scary…very very scary

Trying counselling is scary but it's worth giving ut a go. Yiu seem to know Emma and she has made the counselling lady aware and don't forget you can always speak to Emma to feedback or pass something on.

If it helps u was in a similar situation, seeing the school cpunsellor agter my head on yr suggested ot was xo hard and they were timed I didn't want to see her but my head of yr was there to help make it easier...

Hey @Rose113 I can hear how nerve wracking it would be to start counselling on Tuesday especially as previous experiences might’ve not have been the most positive and I just wanted to acknowledge how brave you are for giving it another go on high thoughts not an easy thing to do so just taking that first step to give it another go is amazing and you should be really proud of yourself I just wanted to check in to see how you’re feeling about Tuesday now? We are here if you wanna talk through how you’re feeling about things I’ll be thinking about you and I’m sending you lots of hugs and I hope it goes well keep going @Rose113 u got this 🙂

hey @Rose113 i really hope the counselling goes well for you!! i know the thought of it can be super scary, but it sounds like you’re going to give it a go? i’m really proud of you for that as i know that can be a really hard thing to do - not trying again would be the much easier way to go so i hope you’re proud of yourself too for trying again even when its scary!! i’m glad that you’ll be able to take colouring with you too🙂
