I got a habit

I got a habit of reading blueberry and tf fanfics on ao3 and devinart now. I read one named victor and the chocolate factory which is like a genderbent version of charlie and the chocolate factory. I hate that I just read blueberry tf's. I havent done it in a while and it feels weird doing so sometimes. I feel like a disgusting person sometimes.
Just a person who likes pop culture and films

Thank you so much @sinead276
It can be really hard sometimes to be self-accepting towards ourselves when our interests are more niche, or we're unsure exactly why we're drawn to a particular thing. I know a lot of my own friends have enjoyed reading fanfics in their life and they can be a wonderful form of expressing imagination and escapism!
I agree with @sinead276 that so long as our habits are not causing harm to others or harm to ourselves, then we're all okay. I wonder what part of reading the fanfics worries you, if you feel comfortable sharing? We're here to listen without judgement.
If you have specific concerns or worries that you'd like to check out, you may wish to message an organisation called Is This Ok? I'll pop their details below:
They have a chatbot which can support you with advice and information 24/7. Is This Ok? use a chat-bot as an easy way of identifying the support you need. The chat-bot will be able to give you advice and information 24/7. You will then have the option to be transferred through to a trained chat advisor who will be able to listen and provide non-judgemental support.
Their specialist advisers are available to chat to from 2:30pm-9:30pm Monday to Thursday and 4pm-11pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are a completely anonymous service and won't ask you for any personal information.
They are a service mainly for 13-18 year olds, but if you are slightly older than this and present an issue that they can support with, they will try and help.
Their website is https://www.isthisok.org.uk/
You could also find further support here if you're worried:
Childnet aims to make the internet a safe place for children and young people. They provide the latest advice and guidance on key online safety issues, as well as information on the latest apps and games. They provide support for 4-11 year olds, and 11-18 year olds. For more information on their services go to https://www.childnet.com/
Hope you can be kind to yourself, @Amy22 and we're here if you wanna talk more.
