hey, when i was on sertraline my dosage was increased from 50mg to 100mg but i still had some of the 50mg left at that time so to use them up i was told to just take 2x 50mg to make up the 100mg dosage but pls speak to a doctor or medical professional who knows 100% what they are talking about🩷

    Hey @ellie2000

As @Eylah and @shannonxg_ have mentioned, it's super important to talk with a doctor or pharmacist about any changes to your medication routine, including the dosage of sertraline. They'll be able to give advice based on your personal medical needs and history <3

In general, taking four 50mg tablets of sertraline is considered the same to taking two 100mg tablets. Both methods deliver the same total dosage of the medication (200mg). However, it's important to remember that the way your body absorbs and processes the medication might be slightly different depending on the tablet size.

Please do talk to a doctor before making any changes to the way you take medication, Ellie- that way, you can be sure that the dosage is correct for your needs.

    Stay safe!
