Love at first sight

Hello guys I am really hurt and upset I like this guy when I first started a new college because last year I was at a different one but I didn’t like it so I went back to my sixth-form that has a college but anyway I found him attractive the first time I seen him I do believe in love at first sight and I feel like that is true so a few weeks later i had the courage to tell him then apparently he felt the same way so we was together then after a bit he ended it so a few weeks after that i asked him what he wanted to do then he said he was thinking about it then i left it a few more weeks then asked him again tonight and he said he just wanted to be friends😓.

He also has autism and I don’t understand it I haven’t no knowledge on that disability he just said he finds it hard but I don’t understand why?

I’m just really upset about it really I need some advice on tips
