Something you wish others knew

I'm curious, what's something you wish other people knew about you? Like something you don't get to talk about much. Do you have any hidden talents, hidden dreams, maybe even a hidden fear?
I think mine is that I love scrapbooking! I've grown up with a very artistic and creative sister and was often compared to her throughout school. Teachers would ask me if I could draw like her but I could barely draw a reasonable looking stickman. I never really thought I had a creative bone in my body until I started sticking random bits and pieces to paper. Now I love to document different memories, create pages just for the aesthetic and experiment with different textures. I don't really know anyone else who scrapbooks tbh so I often feel like I'm in a little bubble. I also go through phases where I'll scrapbook loads for weeks and then not touch it for months so I only do it when inspiration hits!
What about you?

That's impressive, how long ago was that?
You were so young too, I hope you're proud of yourself you definitely should be.
aw thankyou i have had to stop dancing bc it’s rly hurt my hips and mobility of them but i wish i could dance again maybe in future ❤️
No worries and sorry to hear that, hopefully you can dance again ❤️
@Katie, I love that you enjoy scrapbooking so much! I've never tried it myself, but my sister recently got into collage and she made me the most beautiful bookmark for my birthday and now its making me want to learn collage so I can make homemade Christmas presents this year!
@Amy22 and @eylah that's super cool that you both have these performing sides! Drama used to be my favourite subject at school and I went on to study Drama at uni too. It's weird because its been aaaaages since I last acted, but it used to make me feel so alive and happy! I wonder if you can relate to that?
Another part of me that I guess I wish others knew more is that I used to work for an environmental charity and am super passionate about nature and fighting climate change! In my old job I had the opportunity to go to North Wales and help plant seagrass meadows in the ocean. It was such a beautiful week!
I also did drama in secondary school and I took it for my GSCE's, I mostly took it so I could improve on my writing skills as well as writing scripts and plays as that was an interest of mine and still is to this day.
@katie I wanted to answer but I couldn't really think of anything unfortunately
@Katie, scrapbooking looks like so much fun - and I'd totally love to do this as well, I see lots of videos of people scrapbooking and it's so satisfying seeing how their pages come to life! I'm so glad that this is an activity you enjoy doing, it's a lovely way to document memories and facilitate creativity
@Amy22, omg it's so so cool that you were involved in your friend's short film that almost got 11 nominations!! You're so so talented!
@eylah, woah that's absolutely amazing that you've performed in front of many people in London and got a main role in the Addams family! What role did you play? I took singing lessons when I was year 10 and also had to perform in front of people in my hometown with a band, although I was really nervous it was a lot of fun and would love to do it again one day!
@Sian321, wow it's so cool that you've worked for an environmental charity and helped plant seagrass meadows in the ocean! I bet that it was wonderful and that it was a lot of fun!!
For me, I think a lot of people around me see me as a reserved individual who likes drawing, playing the piano, and as someone who wants to do well in school. I guess I'd like other people to know that I'm really open to learning new things, like I really want to take dancing classes one day to just have fun and develop my confidence! Taking classes is scary, especially since I have no control over my body whatsoever, but I know that over time, I'll grow to enjoy it and become comfortable!
As well as this, I really enjoy writing and want to be able to write a lot of stories (I have a story in progress but haven't been working on it recently because of uni aaaaa)! This sounds like a really ambitious goal, but even so I wouldn't mind not achieving this. As long as I find time to write, I'm happy
I'll be graduating next year, so it would also be great if I could start an art business as a side hustle after I graduate where I could sell bookmarks, and hopefully art prints if it does well
mine would probably be that im learning to write my own songs and it’s so fun but im also not that good yet!! i do love singing tho it’s one of my favourite hobbies.
