Hey everyone I’m Katie 😊 I’ve been a volunteer moderating the support group chats for about 3 years but I joined The Mix as a staff member a few months ago on one of our other services. Over the next few months you’ll be seeing me pop up here on the boards!

1. What do you enjoy most about modding?
I love the sense of community it brings and being able to provide a space where young people can come together to support each other or just have a random chat <3

2. What's a fun fact about yourself?
I’m obsessed with everything pumpkin: home decor, clothes, mugs, and I’ve even got a pumpkin tattoo. BUT I don’t like the taste ☹

3. What's your ideal way to spend your weekends?
I’m a huge cinema girl so you’ll probably find me there! I also like going for walks at my local seaside or playing Stardew Valley!!

4. What's one lesson you've learned from your life that you want to share with the community?
“It’ll pass” is a phrase that has stuck with me ever since I first watched Fleabag – so much so that I got it tattooed! I’ve found that whatever I’m going through, however big or small, it’ll pass, or at least maybe how I’m feeling will shift. And I find great comfort in that because how I’m feeling on any given day will not be forever.

    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    Yup @TheNightmare great memory! She's still running I just had to get her battery changed though because I haven't been driving it as much so it's just been sat there but making a conscious effort now to get out in it !

    @katie Cheers, they are pretty reliable and a battery is fine. I've changed mine a couple of times too.
