Hey everyone,

We have another research opportunity to share with you from UCL. Here's a bit more information about it:
'Our research team at University College London is looking for young people aged 16-24 to participate in individual interviews to talk about their experiences of loneliness and mental health.

We particularly want to hear from people who have past or current experience of loneliness that lasted around 2 years (or more), especially male, non-binary, or transgender people and/or people from minority ethnic backgrounds.

By talking to young people with experience of feeling lonely, we’re aiming to understand the factors that might make loneliness better or worse during adolescence, and how loneliness is linked with mental health. We are also hoping that we can better understand how to help with loneliness in the future.

If you are aged 16-24, living in the UK, and have experience of loneliness that lasted 2 or more years, then you are eligible to take part.

The interview would take about an hour in total and everyone who participates will be offered a £15 e-voucher.

Interested in taking part?
If you would be interested in taking part, or finding out more about this research, please contact the research team using the following email address: sharon.eager.20@ucl.ac.uk.

Please note that this study has been approved by the UCL ethics committee, project ID number: 20217/003.'
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
