Just out of interest, does anyone use Pinterest?

I've sometimes used it to find craft ideas but I know people use it for a variety of things- to find fashion/home/design ideas, inspiration etc.

i could sit for hours making pinterest boards tbh - i use it for inspo, phone wallpaper, vibes anything

I used to use pinterest for references and stuff for anatomy and art. But I felt like it took too much time out of me because I would be constantly distracted. I ended up deleting my account on there because it was just better that way on my phone and also on my tablet. I need to double check if I removed it off my tablet.

Woah we've got a Pinterest fanbase here Love that you all use it for a variety of reasons - inspo for moodboards, crafts, phone wallpaper, art, photography. It feels like it's quite a versatile space.

oooo this is so cool @sinead276 - I've never actually made boards myself on there, only looked at other people's boards. Do you feel like creating boards helps you better visualise your ideas?

This is interesting @Amy22 - when you say you'd constantly be distracted, do you mean looking at other boards and so on?

@Gemma I think for me I would be distracted from doing my work properly and finishing tasks properly because I'd be distracted looking through boards. Also I tend to compare myself to others a lot which woulden't be ideal for me personally

@Gemma - absolutely!! as someone who often struggles to initially visualise things in my mind, i find things like making boards definitely gives me ideas and brings the concepts in my head to life

Totally valid @Amy22! Not every platform works for everyone.

That's lovely @sinead276 - sounds like it's a really great creative tool! Maybe we could start some visualisation / moodboard threads on here with different themes.
