I went to the lounge for the first time n I think I was offensive, but someone triggered me by showing behaviour from the past.

Hey @ellie2000 sorry to hear u got triggered. In what way do u think u were rude? It's good that you're able to identify the way u react when triggered though! I think it is normal to act different so having a response that could be considered as rude makes sense. I hope you're feeling better today? <3 If u wanna talk abt what triggered u or anything then I'm here :)

Hi @ellie2000 thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear that someone has triggered you. It sounds like they brought up something very personal and when we are unexpectedly faced with things from the past and we don’t react in a calm manner. Your reaction sounds like a defence mechanism, which is completely normal when you have been triggered. It’s good that you have identified how you came across in that moment and I hope you are doing much better today!

Hi @ellie2000 im glad that holidays help to be a distraction. Have u anymore planned coming up? I am hearing that u hate when u get triggered. I can understand how it could bring up unwanted feelings. Is there anything you do to help when u feel triggered. Hope your having a nice week and take care
