    Welcome to the community @vicky_zin! It's lovely to have you part of our community. Do you have a favourite book or any recent ones you've been reading that you'd recommend? I'm looking for new books to read!
    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    What kind of genre are you looking for @Aife ?
    I'm close to finishing The Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow, which I have loved! But it does have some Trigger Warnings inside as it unravels the main character's mental health survival journey.

    Hi @vicky_zin welcome to The Mix, I hope you enjoy your time on here. I see a fellow booklover and I'm very happy :). Though my reading focus hasn't been good at the moment. Girl in Pieces sounds like a very good book to read I'll have to check it out at some point. I currently got a book from my library well two they are called 'This is not the end' by Molly Morris and 'In Deeper Water's' by F.T Lukens. Hope to see you around on the boards,

    I see you like black noir genre!
    Have you read 'Why she Run' by Dunphy or 'If we were Villains' By M.I Rio? They both fall under psychological thriller/ murder mystery.

    @vicky_zin honestly i could recommend u so many amazing books i've read but ive forgotten all the titles, i only remeber what happens.
    however i do remember these if u wanna try them:
    the death of mrs westaway by ruth ware
    death is in the details (one of my top favs)
    chasing the stars malorie blackman ( there is an unexpected plot twist, all im gonna say)
    flashes by tim o rourke ( another fav)

    Hey @vicky_zin welcome!! I'm also a mega bookworm, I have a huge bookshelf in my room which I've colour coded so it's like an adorable rainbow in the corner of my room lol. And I'm also incredibly socially awkward too. I was gonna ask what books u like but I see Aife beat me to it lol. I really wanna read Girl in Pieces tbh because apparently for some reason I love triggering books but my to read list is so longg and I've been so so busy that I've been moving through it at a snail's pace. I'm also in like a never ending reading slump so that's fun lol. Sorry I'm ramblinggg, I hope you're ok and I hope u enjoy being a part of this wonderful community! <3

    Also @libbystrawberry if u want some murder mystery or psychological thriller recommendations then I have tons bcs besides romance I absolutely adore thrillers and freaky stuff that fucks with your head until u finish reading and ur like 'woahhh my brain'. Also I love chasing the stars by malorie blackman!! She's a great author, one who defo deserves all the hype and popularity. I've not read many of her books because they're not my usual type of books (although she does have quite a mix of genres) but out of the handful I have read they're all amazing. Okay I'm gonna stop rambling now xD

    Heya @vicky_zin Welcome to the community and excited to have u here. Also a mega bookworm and i didnt realise so many of u r !I loved girl in pieces and also the other books by Kathelen Glasgow r so well written. Im about to start she gets the girl this weekend which is perfect for pride month. Imagine if we had a mix book club hehe 😉
