I'm sorry someone made that remark, that was horrible of them. Ptsd can be really difficult. One of my old friends has ptsd and I hated having to see her in so much pain and having to see how much it affected her. Whether that person thinks u were abused or not you went through something which clearly had a negative impact on you and that's completely valid no matter what anyone else says. And it's good that u walked away! Removing yourself from such negative people and environments can be really positive so you should be proud of yourself for that! :)

I'm sorry to hear that someone made that kind of remark in response to you sharing your experiences with PTSD. Unfortunately, there can be a lack of understanding or empathy towards mental health issues, and some people may not realize the impact of their words. It's important to remember that their comment does not define you or your experiences. It's okay to feel sad or upset by their words, but try not to let it consume you. Surround yourself with supportive and understanding people who can uplift and validate your experiences. Remember that your journey and struggles are valid and deserving of respect and understanding.
