Hello everyone ,

Christmas is over for another year and I recognise that for a lot of people yesterday was a difficult day and also the period between now and new year where everyone reflects on How there year went can prove difficult for many . So I hope this thread can create a safe space where we can talk and rant and offer support to others ♥️

For me This year has been difficult, we lost my grandad at the beginning of the year and my health has made some days more difficult than others . Christmas for me this year didn’t feel much like Christmas, I was hit by scammers on Friday so have been left without a bank card until my new one arrives …. You never really know how much you rely on your bank card when you don’t have one . It’s also my birthday this coming week and again even though it’s my 21st I just don’t feel very excited. I’ve got drinks and crazy golf planned with some family but other than that , we don’t really do much due to it being so close to post Christmas festivities
Sometimes all you need is one person to believe in you , for you to begin to believe in yourself.

Hey @Millie2787, thank you so much for creating this supportive thread, it's especially needed for those who have had some difficult times during Christmas or throughout the year. <3

Although Christmas and New Years are known for being joyous occasions, it can still be challenging for some, therefore it's completely valid for people to feel upset during this time.

Thank you for being so brave to share your experiences about Christmas and how your year went overall. You have my condolences, it's very difficult to cope after losing a loved one. How have you been doing? Please feel free to talk to us here at anytime, or to a trusted friend or family member.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been scammed on Friday, I really hope that this problem gets sorted out. I also thought that Christmas didn't feel a lot like Christmas this year, so you're not alone with this feeling ^^ I hope you have a lovely birthday next week, and it's completely valid to not feel excited for it even though drinks and crazy golf sound exciting.

    Sending hugs to everyone <3
