🎄 Christmas Films 🎄

Hiya I thought it would be cool to talk about some of our favourite Christmas films that we like. Feel free to post on here your favourite film's or even recommend a fee ☺ :). Mine would probably be either Elf or the Nativity film's (David Tennant in the 2nd film 😂)

I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrel but I can consistently enjoy Elf.

I'm not a super Christmassy person so it probably stops there for me, unless Groundhog Day counts?! I feel like I half-remember that being set at Christmas (or at least in Winter)

I'm completely in agreement with you @Amy22, my favs are also Elf and the Nativity films.

Although to be honest if someone puts on any christmas film there's a good chance I'll sit and watch it :3

My all-time favourite Christmas film is The Polar Express. I used to always watch it with my grandparents whilst drinking hot chocolate wrapped up in blankets.

However, Nativity gives me such happy vibes! Especially with Mr. Poppy, as you said @Amy22 =) but also with all the upbeat songs <3

My all-time favourite Christmas film is a bit varied, like my choice in Christmas music. My main favourite is the 2000 film "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" - the one with Jim Carrey. B) It's like he was always meant for that role, as he was so perfect in the role.

My other favourite Christmas films are:

Home Alone 1 -3, the others I'm not a fan of.
    Disney's A Christmas Carol (2009)
Father Christmas (That Channel 4 short film, sooo funny :joy:)
The Magic Gift of The Snowman (you can find the film on YouTube and Prime Video, it's pretty heart-warming and has a good message)

A few others too, but these are the main ones. B)

Last week I watched A Song For Christmas and it was such a good film. I only watched a little bit but it was really good.

I love Home Alone, both 1 & 2 are such great films!
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

Generally not a fan of Christmas films, but I will always watch the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special (the first one). It is such a perfect special, as it continues the plot of the series, whilst also showing a lot of what Christmas actually feels like.

On the film front, for all its problems, I do watch love actually, and am still heartbroken by what happens to Emma Thompson's character, even though I know it's coming 💔
