We take turns writing a sentence. The poem will be in couplets. Every two sentences will rhyme. The next sentence won't rhyme with the above but it has to have 6 syllables. The next sentence will rhyme with above. And then the next sentence will be 6 syllables again. This goes on.
Example because it probably sounds confusing:
Steve was eating a bun (6 syllables)
He thought it was tasty and fun
Suddenly there were guys (6 syllables)
Who really wanted fries
But he did not have it (6 syllables)
But he had buns and told them to sit
Because he was sharing (6 syllables)
You could say he's rather caring...
and so on..
Preferably each sentence would be related but don't worry if you can't think of anything, just follow the rhyming and syllable pattern. Go wild, make it ridiculous if you want. Made up words are not allowed, and no words that doesn't have a rhyme are allowed (e.g. purple, orange..). Half rhymes are allowed though try not to use them. Remember, words only have to sound like rhymes (for example above, guys and fries. another example is rough and gruff). We shall begin ((:
I'll start:
The frog lives at the beach
